On May 9th to 14th, Jakob, Tobias and Johanna traveled to Mongolia to visit the companies: EY PWC Mongolian Stock Exchange & BDSec During the last years, the density of international service companies is increasing in a rapid pace in Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbaatar. The purpose of the visit was to understand these companies incentives better and explore the business climate in Mongolia. The representatives also aimed to better understand the challenges and opportunities companies face when expanding to Asian developing economies, as well as how Mongolia are handling environmental problems, how or if this affects the companies operating in Mongolia and which actions they are taking to act more sustainable. On May 2nd – 7th CITO representatives Victor, Nils and Erik traveled to Shanghai to meet up with the following companies: Fingerprint Valmet Swedish General Consulate Tongji University The purpose of the trip was to learn more about what opportunities Swedish students have in China, and also get some insight into why studying and/or working in China can prove to be a very valuable experience.  More information about the trip can be found here – with answers to questions such as “How is work culture different in China?” and “Why should I consider moving to China?” CITO would also like to reach out and thank all the company representatives in Shanghai who took their time to meet with us!
