The Chalmers International Taiwan Office is one of a kind. In 2003 Chalmers University of Technology gave a group of students the opportunity to start up an office at National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in Taiwan. Chalmers International Taiwan Office enables Chalmers University of Technology and their students to position themselves in East Asia, a region which has undergone an amazing economic and social development during the last decades.
Combined with the exchange program with NCTU the Chalmers International Taiwan Office gives Chalmers students great opportunities. Apart from pursuing exchange studies, the office members visit companies and institutions in the East Asian region on the account of the office.
Every year the office also publishes two issues of the Asia Magazine, an informative and inspirational periodical about various phenomena encountered in Asia. The magazine is a joint effort by all the Chalmers exchange students in Asia.
On this website you will find news regarding the various activities of the office such as company visits and events that we have arranged. You can also check the calendar for upcoming events that we will host. Those interested in the exchange between Chalmers and NCTU can find more information about it and how to partake in it in the “For Students” section. If you want to read more about how Chalmers International Taiwan Office operates as a mediator between Chalmers students and companies in East Asia, visit the “For Companies” page. A complete list of current and previous CITO crew members all the way back to 2002/2003 can be found under “Staff“.
