Three of the office members visited Atlas Copco, after some troubles to find the office. David Goetschalckx and Winson D Devlin greeted us with enthusiasm and presented a well extensive presentation of Atlas Copco for the Asia region and the complete Atlas Copo Group.
David had just arrived in Taiwan and is going to work here for 3 month before going back to the main office and factory in Antwerpen, Belgium. He is in charge over coordinating distributors selling Atlas Copos product here in Taiwan.
The office was very modern and newly renovated but Atlas do not have any production there. The facility had a small warehouse to store spare parts and products already sold, about to be delivered to costumers.
During the visit we discussed some opportunities for Atlas to present themselves at NCTU to make the Taiwanese students aware of Atlas Copco. We also discussed the opportunities for internships and a bigger collaboration with the CITO office. We will see more in the future what kind of possibilities we can offer each others. The visit was very nice and we are happy that they could recieve us.
