Visit to Autoliv in South Korea

This week, the CITO representatives Markus Bruus and Patric Andersson visited Autoliv in South Korea. Autoliv is a one of the largest providers of seat belts and airbags in the world, and the South Korean Market is becoming increasingly important.

Autoliv has two plants in South Korea containing manufacturing and test sites. The plant CITO visited have 671 employees and is a benchmark factory in Autoliv Production System (APS). They have received several different awards from various customers for their quality and punctuality. Also, in year 2012 they had the honour to pay visits from the Swedish King and the Swedish minister of trade and industry, Annie Lööf.

During the visit the Plant and the APS manager gave an introduction to Autoliv’s business in South Korea, a factory tour and an exciting tour around in their R&D facilities.

Autoliv accepts both internships and master theses.
